To begin an electronic update, click the eUpdate button. Show In Report… Click this button to display a popup menu for selectively showing or hiding certain kinds of report information. Menu items with checkmarks are shown in the report. Virus warnings are always shown in the report. Clear Report Click this button to clear the report area. Copy Report Selection Click this button to copy selected sections of the report area to the clipboard. Save Report As… Click this button to save the contents of the report area to a file. Print Report… Click this button to print the contents of the report area. When you move the pointer over one of the small buttons at the right of this box, the button’s purpose is described here. This is the version of your virus definitions. For effective virus protection, you should frequently update the definitions with the latest Virex Virus Update. If the definitions are more than two months old, the version is shown in red. The Virus Info window displays information about the viruses that Virex can detect and repair. To examine a specific file or folder, hold down the Option key while clicking the Snapshot button. To find and repair virus infections in the volumes selected below, click the Repair button. To repair a specific file or folder, hold down the Option key while clicking the Repair button. To find virus infections in the volumes selected below, click the Diagnose button. To diagnose a specific file or folder, hold down the Option key while clicking the Diagnose button. Diagnose will not repair or otherwise modify the files in any way.
